The Mark of the Ginosaji

Think of the original short as an amusing short story -- and the GINOSAJI feature film as a sprawling, epic novel...  The short was the tip of the iceberg.

THE STORY

The story for the feature film was reverse-engineered by Richard Gale from the original short film -- and delves into many of the mysteries of the Ginosaji:

--Who (or what) is this mysterious attacker?

--Where does he come from?

--Why is he targeting Jack?

--Why does he use a spoon?

--Most importantly: Is there a way to stop him?

The story begins before the events of the original,

and continues far beyond your expectations.

Think of the original short as an amusing short story -- and the GINOSAJI feature film as a sprawling, epic novel.  This is not just an extended version of the short.  It goes much deeper.  The short was the tip of the iceberg.

Although some events from the original will appear in the feature, everything will be re-filmed in Ultra High Definition, and those scenes will take on a different meaning, seen in the context of the overall story.

The feature film has a different format than the short -- there will be no Don LaFontaine-style narration -- that's an element of movie trailers.  However, the deep-voiced trailer Narrator will likely be present in the trailers for the feature film.  There are no plans for any prolonged "again and again" joke (that's been done already!)

In his desperate struggle to survive, Jack will meet many new characters in wild and exciting sequences. While being true to the tone of the original, the feature  story also packs a surprising dramatic punch.

This supernatural epic will be unlike anything you've ever seen.
